About me - English
I'm a retired teacher with specialist qualifications in Literacy and Reading. I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, a small city about 60 km south-west of Toronto. One of my greatest pleasures is international travel. My other activities include fitness, reading, gardening, home renovation and learning new things.
I have taught in Japan, Canada and Australia.
For the past 9 years, I have tutored: IELTS preparation; English as a Second Language adults; Primary/Junior/Intermediate Grade students, and on Skype with adults and children from China, Spain, Greece, France and Thailand.

My tutoring is based on three components: learning needs; learning outcomes, and reflection. My first task is to assist you to identify your learning needs and concerns. Next, you and I will build a program with precise learning outcomes that focus on and address your specific needs. Finally, we will review the lesson to ensure that it was enjoyable and enhanced your English language skills.
