Hello there, my name is Simona, I am 26 years old and I live in Florence, Italy. I am a student in English and French translation at University of Pisa, and I hope to graduate as a translator by next year.

I have given English and French private lessons to high school students, helping them with tests and exams.

In 2014 I moved to Australia as au pair and one of my tasks was to teach Italian language to two children aged 3 and 6.

From May to December 2015 I did an internship in an Italian language school of foreigners. The main purpose was getting 200 hours of teaching; at the end of them, I could do the exam for the DILS-PG: DILS-PG is an official certification in teaching Italian as a Foreign Language released by University for foreigners of Perugia.

This is not only my official certification: in fact, during my internship, I took also the certification as examiner CELI (by University for foreigners of Perugia) and CILS (by University of foreigners of Siena).

During my internship I helped students to exams preparation, not only with written grammar and vocabulary, but mainly in a verbal way, because they used the Italian language to work above all.

I think that speaking is surely the best way to teach a foreign language, because without practising the spoken language, your purpose cannot be fulfilled.

I would like to teach Italian via Skype without giving a boring lesson, I want that my students can think that Italian language is FUNNY, BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE.

I would start with a basic vocabulary, little useful phrases, and grammar step by step. I would like to make them capable to face an official exam, so that I could show what I have learnt from my experience at school and to help them as much as I can.

De mai à décembre 2015 j'ai fait un apprentissage dans une école de langue italienne pour étrangers. L'objectif principal était d'obtenir 200 hoeurs de enseignement; à la fin de ces heures, j'ai eu mon examen pour le DILS-PG: DILS-PG est une certification officielle de l'enseignement de l'italien comme langue étrangère délivré par l'Université pour étrangers de Pérouse.

Cette n'est pas ma seule certification: en effet, durant mon apprentissage, j'ai passé aussi la certification comme examinatrice CELI (de l'Université pour etrangers de Perugia) et CILS (de l'université pour etrangers de Siena).

Durant mon apprentissage j'ai aidé les étudiants avec la préparation à leurs examens, pas seulement avec la grammaire et le vocabulaire écrits, mais surtout l'expression orale, parce que ils utilisent la langue italienne principalement pour travailler.

Je pense que parler est sûrement la meilleure manière d'enseigner une langue étrangère, parce que sans communiquer oralement, les objectifs ne peuvent pas être obtenus.

Je voudrais enseigner l'italien par Skype sans ennuyer, je veux que mes étudiants peuvent penser que l'italien est amusant, beau et unique.

Je commencerais avec un vocabulaire fondamental, des petits phrases utiles, et puis la grammaire. Je voudrais les rendre capable de faire un examen officiel, ainsi que je peux leur montrer ce que j'ai appris des mes experiences à l'école et les aider au mieux des mes possibilités.
