Sawatdee Kha
My name is Mint, I'm 23 years old. I am Language Instructor teaching Thai for foreigners and also English for Thai students. I am a native Thai speaker. I am currently living in Phuket, Thailand. I have been teaching for 2 years. I love and enjoy teaching Thai language to both domestic students and foreigners who want to learn Thai. It's a pleasure to help foreigners understand about Thai language, Thai people and Thai culture.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Thai language with first class honors from the Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University and I am studying Master of Education at Assumption University.
I am Language Instructor, I have been teaching for 2 years. I have taught Thai and English for students since elementary, primary, high school, until university students. I am also a special lecturer in Thai for students of the International program at school in Phuket. I am also teaching Thai for foreigners in person in Phuket and through Skype. My students are from many countries such as Korea, China, etc.
I am easy going person and always cheerful, so you can ensure that we will have a good atmosphere in our class. I'm not too serious or too strict, I'll be your teacher, your facilitator and also your friend.
Therefore, no pressure for our class and my students no need to hurry in learning just practice and learn step by step. Just do your best, that I prefer.
Teaching Approach
As well as teaching Thai for foreigners, I know how difficult learning a new language can be and each student has a different learning style, so I have to design the lesson to my student's ability and interests.
During my class I always encourage my students to learn Thai. I always check up their knowledge after each lesson in order to make sure they understand so that they can apply what they have learned in real life situations. I usually ask whether they have any questions at the end of each class.
