I am a 33 year old Trinity TEFL qualified, experienced native English teacher. I have extensive experience working as a teacher preparing students for Cambridge, IELTS and Trinity exams as well as Business English in both Spain and Argentina. I am especially experienced with helping speakers with their pronunciation as this is such a key part to being able to communicate clearly and with confidence in real life situations.

I myself am a language learner and aside from possessing a C2 level of Spanish, I am currently studying Portuguese. I have also studied music and the arts and am a great lover of cinema and food.

I give lessons to both adults and teenagers face-to-face or one-to-one, from beginner to advanced levels. As a language learner myself, I understand the frustrations one can face and the need to stay motivated; to this end I tailor my classes individually to the students specific interests and needs, providing feedback and advice for ways in which students can improve in their studies outside of class.

I am also a firm believer of introducing students to "real life English" as soon as possible so the language they learn can be used in practical situations, choosing source material which is both engaging and relevant to the learners goals and interests. Therefore classes can be focused on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to pass exams or could equally be used to learn colloquial English.

I have patience, understanding, perseverance and thoroughness. I try at all times to give not only explanations but demonstrations using concrete examples and situations.
