I’m a certified Mandarin teacher with over 20 years of experience, teaching students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. My teaching style is relaxed, interactive, and enjoyable, blending language learning with cultural insights. I hold bachelor's degrees in both Chinese Language and Literature and English Language and Literature, as well as an advanced certificate in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. I’m also certified with a Level 1-B in the National Mandarin Proficiency Test.

Since 2005, I’ve specialized in teaching Chinese as a foreign language to adult learners, including professionals from various international companies and organizations. I’m experienced in designing and delivering customized corporate Chinese training programs that focus on practical communication, workplace language, and intercultural understanding.

In addition to corporate training, I’ve taught in international educational settings, offering Chinese Language Acquisition courses in MYP and DP programs, as well as Chinese Language and Literature classes at the primary level. I’m known for creating engaging and interactive lessons that help learners build confidence and achieve fluency in real-world language environments.

I aim to develop all four core skills —listening, speaking, reading, and writing — with a strong emphasis on effective communication. Additionally, I integrate Chinese culture into my lessons, introducing students to China’s history, traditions, and societal norms. This holistic approach fosters both linguistic fluency and cultural understanding, making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
