About me - English
I'm native English speaker from England with over 19 years of experience teaching English for social purposes, general conversation, examinations, work and business. While studying for my Bachelor of Arts (First-Class Honours) in Humanities with English Language, I developed an interest in linguistic analysis, the evolution of the English language and the interesting history that influenced it. I have taught English in schools in Taiwan, Greece and Spain, and I have travelled to 44 different countries. I am culturally sensitive due to these diverse experiences along with studying humanities. I’m learning Spanish and, therefore, I understand the challenges in learning a language. My interests include travel, languages, reading, global history, films, music, sports, walking and beach life!

I'm an experienced native British English tutor currently living in Spain. I have taught English face-to-face in schools since 2006, and online since 2016. I provide English teaching to foreign students covering all aspects of the English language as well as exam preparation for English proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge examinations. I have taught English to all levels from beginners to proficiency, and all ages from 4 years old to adults.
Teaching Approach
I use the eclectic teaching method which uses elements of various teaching methods that can be combined depending on the student’s needs or the lesson objectives. It is a flexible approach and student-centred so more personalized for the learner. I believe in encouraging self-confidence in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which should be fun and enjoyable and where we can share our cultures. Whatever your objectives are, expanding vocabulary, improving pronunciation and grammar, listening, speaking, reading, writing, the lessons will be built to your needs.
