I moved to the United States with my family 13 years ago. The initial idea to become a German teacher originated while taking ESL classes for myself during my first year in Boston.

Teaching was already part of my working life when I worked for Deutsche Telekom in Germany. I’m a certificated training supervisor to train teens and young adults for their working life as industrial clerks, office management, and retail salesmen. Becoming a German language tutor/ teacher combines two things I’m passionate about: teaching and the German language!

I have been a German tutor for seven years, primarily for private students and small groups, from absolute beginners to advanced learners. For me, it is exciting to watch the growing ability and confidence of my students to communicate and write in German.
