About me - English
Hello and welcome!
I’m the President of the “Caffè Italiano” Association, and our mission is to provide Italian language lessons to immigrants who need support. All the founding members actively contribute to the Association’s activities, and all income — which is paid directly into the Association’s bank account — is used to fund young teachers who deliver lessons across the region.
I hold degrees in Business Administration and Modern Literature, along with a specialist master’s degree from Siena: DITALS I and II.
I have 40 years of experience working in major industrial groups across Italy and Europe, where I held various leadership roles in departments such as Human Resources, Sales, Production, Customer Care, and even as CEO. This background allows me to offer a deep and diverse understanding of the Italian language used in professional settings — whether between colleagues, with clients, suppliers, or external consultants.
I’ve lived in Turin, Milan, Rome, Naples, Bologna, Verona, Cagliari, and Rieti. I have an in-depth knowledge of both city and rural life in Italy, as well as the traditions of central and northern regions, having experienced them firsthand.
My passion for literature, cinema, theatre, history, and Italy’s social and economic development led me to pursue a second degree in Humanities while working full-time. If these topics interest you too, it would be a great pleasure to discuss them together.
I hope to meet you very soon — best of luck in your work!

Teaching Approach
The Master’s degree from the University of Siena deepened my specific competencies in methodologies, teaching models, and practical techniques for instructing non-native speakers in Italian.
I have developed in-depth knowledge of the key Google tools for education and teaching. I am also highly familiar with the ChatGPT model, which I actively integrate into my teaching practice.
If your goal is to improve your Italian language skills, I suggest using the Task-Based Approach recommended by the Council of Europe: learning how to carry out a specific task in a real-life situation in order to achieve a clear objective.
On the other hand, if your aim is to practice your interaction and conversation skills, we can explore a wide range of topics — from economics to literature, from history to culture — at any level you feel comfortable with.
