Hello and nice to meet you!

My name is Junko. Thank you for visiting my profile!

I have been teaching the Japanese language to foreigners since 2005. I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I completed the Comprehensive Training Course for Japanese Teachers in 2000, the Basic Course for Japanese Teachers, and the Practical Teacher's Training Course in 2001 at the ARC ACADEMY in Tokyo. In 2005, I started teaching at the AOBA Language Centre and St. Francis Methodist School in Singapore.

I moved to New York in 2006 and taught one-on-one, in-person lessons, I also started teaching online lessons to students living in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Germany, France, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. In the summer of 2016, I moved to Plano, Texas, and began teaching private and group lessons. After living in the U.S. for 14 years and 6 months, I decided to return to Singapore with my family. I continue to teach online students from all over the world in Singapore.
