I was born in the state of São Paulo in Brazil and I´ve been living and teaching in England for the past fourteen years. I am interested in literature, cinema and travelling! I have been teaching Portuguese for more than twenty years and I enjoy it very much.
Qualifications & Experience
I graduated in Language and Literature (Portuguese and English) at the Universidade do Vale do Paraíba in São Paulo. I taught in schools, companies, privately and online in Brazil for more than 10 years. Nowadays I am working for two schools in central London. I have experience in teaching business people, professionals and students of all ages and nationalities.
Teaching Approach
I teach students from beginner to advanced levels according to their needs, either business, travel or just for personal matters. I use text and exercise books and audio material. From the initial lessons I encourage the students to speak in Portuguese, avoiding translation and thereby improving their communication skills as they progress.
