About me - English
I am a native Portuguese speaker. I live in an English-speaking country but Portuguese continues to be my home language so I am fluent in both of these languages.
When you study an idiom, you learn more about the society, its values and its people. You understand the human system of communication better, and that's very interesting to me.
Qualifications & Experience
Having taught English and Portuguese as a second language in colleges and in evening classes, I’m excited at the opportunity to use my 4 years of experience and excellent communication skills to introduce students to the English and Portuguese language.
I hold a bachelors in Communications Sciences, I'm interested in languages, conversations and the transmission of ideas.
Teaching Approach
Learners will be urged to explore new and challenging discussion topics. This is a great way to teach and reinforce more themes and topics. I believe conversation enhances vocabulary and pronunciation.
