About me - English
Hello, everyone!
My name is Karolina but people usually call me Karo. I was born in Poland and have lived in the UK for 8 years now. I am a qualified EFL teacher (BA and CELTA). I have taught English in Turkey and Vietnam as well as in the UK.
When it comes to my interests, I am into holistic therapies ( I am an Ayurvedic therapist) and yoga (I'm also a yoga teacher). I love being active and do lots of sports and outdoor activities. I love music. I sing and play the ukulele. My passion is travelling and discovering new cultures. I'm currently learning Spanish.
I would love to share my passion of teaching with you. I believe it is such a great platform for a cultural exchange.

Teaching Approach
I believe learning should be fun!
I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible as well as trying to guide the students rather than talk at them.
I am interested in a lot of topics and love learning about others so I am very keen to listen and help students express themselves.
Once I get to know the students, I try to tap into their learning style and tailor classes according to their abilities and needs.
Mam na imię Karolina i jestem Polką. Z wykształcenia jestem nauczycielką angielskiego i uwielbiam podróżować.
Zwiedziłam 41 krajów jak również mieszkałam w kilku (Turcja, Wietnam, Wielka Brytania). Jestem również obywatelką Wielkiej Brytanii.
Moje zainteresowania to psychologia, języki obce, sport, joga, medytacja i holistyczne terapie. Jestem również nauczycielką jogi i terapeutką ajurwedyczną.
Uczę się hiszpańskiego i mam nadzieję, że w przyszłości będę mogła podróżować i mieszkać w jednym z krajów Ameryki Łacińskiej.
