About me - English
I am a qualified and experienced English tutor. I have lived in England since August 2007 and I first qualified as a teacher of English in 1998. I try to make my English lessons practical and fun. I am also qualified in accountancy and so can teach English for accounting purposes. Having originally learned English as a foreign language myself I understand some of the common mistakes that learners can make and the challenges they will face. Since I live in England I have a good understanding of spoken English, including colloquial English and regional dialects.
Qualifications & Experience
I qualified in 1998 in Tskhinval, South Ossetia as a teacher of English and French and from then until 2003 I was employed as a languages tutor at the university there, making me the youngest lecturer at Tskhinval University. I have lived in England since August 2007 and I am currently studying at a UK university.

Teaching Approach
I take an individual approach to my students to try and meet their requirements and encourage them to reach their potential. I try to explain in simple terms any problems of translation or cultural differences and to make lessons fun and engaging.
I speak English as much as possible with my students so that they understand that it is a living language that can be used for everyday communication and not just "a boring academic subject".
