I felt confident while speaking to Akiko sensei. We had some technical problems but she made sure we used the time eficiently. It was an assessment lesson she focused on conversation and was patient when I stumbled. I will probably continue with her.

Konnichiwa! I was born in Japan and I am a native Japanese speaker. I spent my childhood around the Kansai area and grew up in traditional Japanese culture. I have been living in the USA for 21 years, near New York City, and every day I enjoy discovering new cultures and lifestyles from people of different ethnicities. I love teaching and learning new languages. Teaching languages gives me the opportunities to not only discover the differences between my culture and yours, but also gives me an insight to the heart of my own culture.
