I am Brazilian and enjoy traveling around the world and living abroad. The last trip I took was last July. My family and I went to Europe and had lots of fun there!

I have spent 1 year in the USA and 2 years in England, where I taught English and Portuguese for foreigners.

My current location is São Paulo, a big, lively city in Brazil.

I have over 13 years of experience in the teaching field (Portuguese and English languages).

My educational background includes a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate and a CELTA ( Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) certificate from Cambridge University, both in England.

I have taught at a worldwide known language school called Berlitz. Besides teaching, I have worked there as a coordinator.

I am passionate about teaching!

One of the things I like the most about my occupation is that I have fun with my students! I love to get to know them, what they do, what they expect about the classes and their goals.

I use a wide range of materials. It all depends on the student´s needs, which may include business, getting a certificate, travelling and so on.

The focus of my lessons are speaking and listening, supported by reading and writing. A good balance of these skills is essential.

Uma das coisas que mais me agrada na minha profissão é o fato de me divertir com meus alunos! Gosto muito de conhecer suas profissões, o que esperam das aulas e seus objetivos.

Uso uma gama variada de materiais. A escolha deles depende do tipo de interesses do aluno (business, viagens, certificações etc.).

Minhas aulas são focadas na parte de fala e escuta. Escrita e leitura são um suporte para o aprendizado. É essencial que haja um bom equilíbrio entre todas essas habilidades.
