Hi, I'm Rachel - Welcome to my profile!

I've been teaching English for many years to students from all around the world. I'm a native English speaker from the UK. I live in the heart of England, near to the birthplaces of William Shakespeare, Samuel Johnson (creator of the first English dictionary) and J.R.R.Tolkien with my Italian husband and my dog!

I teach English for Business and Professional Purposes, Academic English (IELTS), General English (including Cambridge exam preparation).

I'm also an IELTS examiner and an examiner for the Oxford International ELLT.

I specialise in Spoken English and Fluency - in these lessons, the emphasis is on enabling you to take part in spontaneous interactions in a range of subjects. All lessons will be based on your personal objectives and will include building your vocabulary, improving your pronunciation, and giving you the tools you need to communicate effortlessly.

All of the lessons are tailored to meet your needs with a great emphasis on speaking. In the lessons we will work on your personalised language mistakes and build your confidence, knowledge and fluency. I will give you advice for independent study and extra materials for practice.

The lessons are for you so it is my aim to help you reach your goals and have fun while doing it.
