My name is Benedetta, I am 31, I am from Pisa (the city of the leaning tower!) and I am an Italian teacher.

Foreign languages are my passion! I live in Pisa but I have travelled a lot in my life and I have lived abroad for a while.

After a Master degree in Cultural Anthropology, I obtained a Master in Didactics and Promotion of Italian as a Foreign Language (Master Itals, University Cà Foscari of Venice)

In 2010 I obtained the DITALS Certification, that allows to teach Italian as a foreign language and that is issued by the University for foreigners of Siena.

I have been teaching Italian since 2008; I taught in Italy, to different types of students (age, nationality and level) in different schools and also in the Universities of Pisa and Florence.

I have also taught abroad, in Peru and Brazil.

I have a communicative teaching approach and I believe that learning by doing it is an important part of the learning process.

I try to teach grammar in a inductive way, when it is possible.

The program I follow and the activities I choose are always focused on the student's needs: so, since every learning experience is unique, every teaching experience is personalized!

Mi chiamo Benedetta, ho 31 anni e sono di Pisa, la città famosa per la torre pendente.

Sono un'insegnante di italiano. Le lingue straniere e la mia, l'italiano, sono la mia passione. Adesso vivo a Pisa, ma ho viaggiato molto e ho vissuto per diversi anni all'estero.

Mi piace camminare nella natura, cantare e da molti anni pratico la capoeira.

Dopo aver conseguito una Laurea Specialistica in Antropologia Culturale ed Etnologia, ho frequentato e concluso il Master ITALS in didattica della lingua e cultura italiane presso l'Università Cà Foscari di Venezia.

Dal 2010 sono in possesso della Certificazione Ditals rilasciata dall'Università per Stranieri di Siena.

Dal 2008 insegno Italiano a stranieri: ho insegnato sia in Italia che all'estero (Peru, Brasile) a diverse tipologie di studenti per età, nazionalità e livello.

In Italia ho insegnato in diverse scuole e nelle Università di Pisa e Firenze.

Nelle lezioni adotto un approccio comunicativo alla lingua, accompagnando allo sviluppo delle abilità comunicative l'insegnamento della grammatica (se possibile e gradito dallo studente secondo un metodo induttivo) e l'ampliamento del lessico.

Ogni percorso didattico è progettato sulla base dei bisogni dello studente: i metodi utilizzati, le attività proposte variano quindi a seconda delle esigenze di ogni studente.
