Thank you for clicking on my profile! My name is Ahmed, I live in Cairo, Egypt.
Being a teacher of Arabic to non speakers helped me a lot in improving my ability to deal with the people from different backgrounds, and places. I became more understanding to the differences between people, in addition to teaching my language and culture, and helping people to understand it .
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Arabic Language, Literature and Islamic Studies - Cairo University (Egypt)
* 2 diplomas in teaching Arabic as a foreign language (2011-2013)
* B.A. in Arabic and Islamic Studies
* Certificate from Cairo University's Institute for the Arabic language and culture
* Class teacher for preschool students (2005)
* Online teacher (since 2005)
Experience:
I have taught children, high-school & university students as well as adults and seniors, both in one-on-one situations and in groups. I have taught beginners level Arabic all the way through to advanced Arabic& exam preparation.
Teaching Approach
My teaching approach is based solely around what YOU want and what YOUR expectations are.
I like to adopt a communicative approach which set clear, achievable goals for each lesson. Together we can choose topics, such as booking a flight, making small talk to foreign clients, shopping, TED talks etc. and base the lesson around these situations and what language, phrases, and structures you will need.

3. Perform our new language, making sure YOU are speaking for the majority of our time.
At the end of the lesson, I will give you a lot of positive feedback, and let you know what areas we can improve on. This way YOUR Arabic, especially your fluency and accuracy, will improve quickly.
Learning Arabic should be fun, so I will keep grammar down to a minimum and always encourage YOU to do most of the speaking. YOU can ask questions any-time! Questions help both you and me!
