Language fuels our brains, frames our thoughts and makes complex communication possible. In an age of borderless communications and global travel, it seems almost archaic to be limited to one language only.

I'm a native German speaker, born and raised in a town in northern Germany. After travelling a lot I decided to settle down in the beautiful town of Oaxaca de Juarez. Although living there for several years I'm still enthusiastic about the vibrant art scene, the delicious food and the warm-hearted people in the south of México. Nevertheless right now I'm living in Berlin / Germany.

I'm offering conversations about Germany, German culture, living in Germany and culture in general (books, films, history ...)

Having studied foreign languages myself - and still learning - I have a true understanding for how hard it is to learn a new language from the beginning. I've found that this helps me relate to my students.

My teaching approach is learner-centered - which means that we will find out the best way for YOU to individually learn German. The lessons will be adapted completely to your needs, your pace and your agenda.

I am a big believer in creating a fun, authentic learning experience, through which students learn the language within the context of real-world situations to which they can relate. By using a lot of different materials in my lessons I can fully cater to each level, demand and expectation. During classes with me you will practise speaking German as much as possible and I'll correct your mistakes.

I offer classes beginning from level A1 / beginners to C2 / proficient speaker.

This includes conversational classes geared more toward people who already have reached a certain level and need to focus more on their conversational German and listening comprehension as well as beginners trying to get a grip on German.

Soy una hablante nativo de alemán, nacido y criado en una ciudad en el norte de Alemania. Después de viajar mucho decidí establecerme en la hermosa ciudad de Oaxaca de Juárez. Aunque ya llevo varios años viviendo aquí, sigo entusiasmada con la vibrante escena artística, la deliciosa comida y las personas de buen corazón en el sur de México.

Después de haber estudiado idiomas extranjeros (y todavía estoy aprendiendo ...) tengo una verdadera comprensión de lo difícil que es aprender un nuevo idioma desde el principio. He encontrado que esto me ayuda a relacionarme con mis estudiantes.

Soy una creyente en la creación de una experiencia de aprendizaje divertida y auténtica, a través de la cual los estudiantes aprenden el idioma en el contexto de situaciones del mundo real con las que pueden relacionarse.

Al usar muchos materiales diferentes en mis lecciones, puedo atender completamente a cada nivel, demanda y expectativa. Durante las clases conmigo, practicarás hablar alemán lo más posible y corregiré tus errores.
