I have been teaching English for the last 6 years right after I have completed my studies in English Literature and in English Language Teaching and Information Communication Technology (ICT). I am 28 years old and I live in Cyprus which is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea. Currently, I work at my own Private English Language School in Cyprus. I enjoy teaching and I find particularly challenging the fact that my students' age vary from as young as 3 years old to 70 years old.
Apart from my professional activities in teaching and translating, I like travelling, reading books, watching films and doing water sports. I also love animals and I spend a lot of time taking care of them.
I am looking forward to welcoming you in an exciting and rewarding teaching and learning experience!

Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL)
Technology is definitely an integral part of our lives and the language classroom is no different. I strongly believe that technology has endless powers in the classroom and can be used to make your lessons come alive and make you learning experience unforgettable. Not only is it memorable but it can also make teaching a blast! Why not take advantage of it? Whether that be the interactive whiteboard, interactive online games, instructional videos, film scenes or you name it.
Practice, practice, practice! It's all about practice. Learning a foreign language is like flying a plane you need a lot of flying hours. The more you practise by reading authentic materials, listening to native speakers, speaking and writing, the better and more fluent you will become. So, I provide students with lots of material on vocabulary building, reading, writing as well as speaking. All 4 skills are important.
