About me - English
Native speaker of British English with almost 20 years' professional teaching experience. CELTA-qualified. I have successfully prepared many students for job interviews and taught courses for the Cambridge suite of exams (CFE, CAE, CPE) as well as TOEIC and TOEFL preparation courses. I teach general and business English to all learning levels.

Teaching Approach
For the past 20 years I have been working full-time as an English-language teacher working with students from all over the world and am absolutely convinced that if you are motivated you can achieve anything.
I’m a firm believer that learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience so my classes are as dynamic and interactive as possible. First, I make sure that my students get plenty of speaking time followed by a period of error correction. I help my students learn and practise lots of new vocabulary as well as work on pronunciation. For more advanced students it’s important to learn common phrasal verbs and expressions used by native speakers so that learners can sound more natural. Extra grammar work can be sent as homework as well as any other necessary supplementary material.
After an in-depth discussion with the student about their particular requirements, I create an individual course that suits their particular needs and that will help them reach their goals.
