Hajimemashite, Rie desu. I live in Shizuoka prefecture where Mt.Fuji is located. I've been to USA, Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Canada, Singapore and Malaysia. Life experience through those countries gave me a passion for teaching Japanese and spread our culture.
It is very interesting for me to get to know other people and share our thoughts whatever our languages are.
I'm very happy to help you to study Japanese!
I've completed the Japanese Teacher Training course 420 hours in Sydney,Australia in 2011.
At Sydney, I was taken charge of beginner,post-beginner,pre-intermediate class at language school. It was a direct learning method in Japanese language.
Except for work experience in Australia, I've tutored Korean students JLPT N1-3 in English. Their main goal was to enter university in Japan.
In Canada, I was in charge of pre-advanced classes and have taught honorific words with Genki textbook by indirect method.
At Alberta, luckily I had a chance to join a local Japanese school and they offered me a temporary teaching position for local children from age 4-12 years. The main lesson was hiragana, katakana, kanji and easy vocabulary for kids such as belongings, animals, family and so on. We also played games.
In Japan, I belong to the local Japanese community group and tutoring one-to-one. My previous students were from USA, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Jamaica and Australia. Main lesson was JLPT N1-5, verbal communication, conversation, kanji, business conversation at factory and school.
About textbooks: I have several textbooks for JLPT N1-5, also Minnnano Nihongo. I'll scan homework then it's available to send by email.
If you'd like to use your textbook and have some questions, then I'd like to answer quickly in English or Japanese or both languages. I'll ask your needs, main goals, your requests such as homework/ frequency/ how to be taught by Japanese or English etc at first lesson.
Please don't worry and let's have fun with a laugh and smile! :)
