I am a Canadian that immigrated to Taiwan back in 2005. I have a family of, a son, a daughter, and my wife and I. For hobbies, I like to play tabletop games, read novels, and go fly fishing.

Qualifications & Experience
Teaching Experience
I have been an English teacher since 2005. I have taught all age groups from kindergarten upward to adults, but I have spent the majority of my teaching time working with teenage students. I generally focus on speaking classes and help students to build fluency, however, I recognize the importance of writing and reading. I currently teach in a junior/senior high school but I have had ongoing private one on one classes that have spanned for many years. I'm very dependable and I seldom, if ever, miss classes that I teach.

Motivations
I would like to perhaps get more freedom to live where I want, and by teaching online I might be able to move away from the schools where I must teach.
Teaching Approach
I focus on speaking and I believe that most students get enough practice with the 3 other skills and they also can study them independently. I tend to teach classes that are student-centered and play the role of encourager and corrector.
