I'm a 27-year-old English teacher from Argentina, with 8/9 years of experience. After traveling around Europe for a month, last year, I realized how important knowing English was. I also realized that traveling was what I wanted to do while I still had the energy. So, I embarked on this adventure. I've been to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and I'm currently living in Australia for a few months. This is why I decided to start teaching English online: to have the possibility to travel around the world, learn about different cultures and keep doing what I like the most, teaching.
I started teaching when I was 18. I taught very young children first, and then continued teaching children and adults privately for a few years. I also taught Spanish to foreigners living in Argentina! Later on, I started teaching small groups of teens and adults at schools of English. 6 years ago, I started teaching in a bilingual school in Buenos Aires, teaching Language, Literature and Sciences to 10/12-year-olds.
I attended the Teacher Training College in a very well-known school in Argentina, E.N.S. enLenguas Vivas "Sofia B. de Spangenberg" where not only did I learn grammar, but I also learned phonology and history, among others. Furthermore, I had an extensive training in teaching English as a Foreign Language throughout the 4-year-long course.
Languages are meant to let us communicate with others. At first, we may feel axious about learning a language, but tutors are here to help you do your best and encourage you to try hard. It's just you and me each time, so there's nothing to worry about. Relax, open your mind to a new world and let yourself learn from using the language.
Be sure that the lessons will always be dynamic and we will deal with your own interests. I'll always be more than happy to hear everything about yourself, your interests, your family, your culture, and anything you feel like sharing!
