Hi, my name's Frank and I'm half-English half-Spanish. I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a bachelors degree in Sociology with a focus on education and am currently living and working in Colombia as an opportunity to explore new places and different cultures. I'm a passionate English teacher with experience teaching and planning lessons for adults and children alike. I'm hardworking and committed, and try to make my classes engaging for students through participation.
English teaching certificate (CELTA) obtained in Campbell College in 2013
B.A. in Sociology at the University of Glasgow, completed in 2018
Teacher/Teacher Manager for Anglo Limited at their Eastbourne centre, summer 2017
Voluntary English Teacher at Valencia Acoge, 2016
EFL Teacher at Caxton College, 2015
After school English Teacher CEP Montealegre 2013/2014
As a teacher, I try and make my classes as dynamic and participative as possible, as I believe that the best way to learn a language is through using it regularly. I therefore am supportive with students who use English and try to promote this as much as possible through conversation, reading and writing. I enjoy teaching both children and adults, as both are rewarding in different ways, and like to dedicate time to planning my lessons as this makes them more enjoyable to teach as well as for the student.
