Thank you for visiting my profile.
I'm Nozomi. I was born in Japan and I am now living in Australia. I'm a Japanese native speaker and a fluent English speaker. I have been engaged in the education industry for more than ten years as a Japanese teacher and an English teacher. I have taught in Japan, Australia and Brazil. Currently I'm living in Australia and teaching Japanese to local students. I love teaching. I love to see students moving forward and achieving their goals.
I have lived in many countries (at least 7 different countries) and met many people with different backgrounds. This experience has made me open minded and friendly to everyone.
I have been engaged in the education industry as a Japanese teacher, English teacher and so forth. After completion of my bachelors, I worked in Japan, Australia and Brazil. Recently, I have been working in Australia at a local preschool as a pre-school teacher. I have also taught disabled children and have taught Japanese.
Whilst in Brazil, I worked as a Japanese teacher, I worked for a local language school for one year. Recently, I have attained ACCET (US Department of education funded agency) accredited TEFL (Master, 120 hours) Certificate (Basic, Educator, Teaching young learners and Business English Certificate). I also attained a Certificate three, individual support (Aging, Disability, Home and Community Care), Dysphagia management Certificate and First Aid Certificate in Australia, so I can also teach students with special needs as well.
My teaching method is based on a communicative approach. As I want everyone to participate and gain confidence in their ability, I do not use the old lecturer way. I try to make my lessons more student friendly. I know that every student learns in different ways and at different rates so I base lessons on the student's needs to ensure the best results are reached.
