I am a native of Pakistan, married to an American, living in Singapore. I hold a degree in Urdu Language and Literature from the University of the Punjab, graduated 1984. I have taught Urdu to American graduate students in Pakistan for the US Peace Corps (summers of 1987-90), The University of California's Berkeley Urdu Language Program in Pakistan (1985-90), and in the US I tutored graduate students in Urdu and Punjabi for the University of Texas 1991-93. Though I was inactive for many years, I have recently started offering private tuition and Urdu translation services again.
