Olá!

My name is Rita and I am a Portuguese teacher for foreigners. I was born and I live in the beautiful city of Lisboa, so I am 100% Lisboa. I define myself as an optimistic and responsible person, funny or serious enough in the right time. I am grateful to teach my language to the foreigners who choose to learn this beautiful but sometimes tricky language and to have the opportunity to experience with them a cultural diversity. And this is a blessing.

I teach Portuguese since 2007. I started in Poland Warsaw and I taught there for 5 years. Then I returned to Lisboa and have continued non stop until today.

My method is a result of many years of teaching people from all over the world with different backgrounds, expectations or different ways of learning. So my classes are always tailored and always according to the student needs and their way of learning. I use my own interactive pdfs, audio and or video. I always try during the class to create a relaxed, creative environment for the student to feel “at home” with the new language and in order to turn the Portuguese class into an easy and pleasant lesson.
