It is more than a half year ago, when I started to studying English with Sally and I still enjoy it every week, thanks to her exciting and interesting lessons. She helped me be more confident about speaking and made the English language much easier for me. :-)
My name is Sally and I am a native British English speaker. I live in a beautiful and rural part of Wales with my partner, son, cat and dog. I have interests in environmental matters as well as the arts, culture and current affairs. I also love walking, cycling and gardening.
I have returned to teaching English - this time on line - because I love to meet people from all over the world. With a background in teaching Yoga and in Occupational Therapy, I have always found fulfilment in enabling people to reach their full potential.
By teaching English online, I hope to contribute to increased world wide communication and understanding.

Teaching Approach
Sometimes the hardest part of learning a language is finding the opportunity to have regular conversations with a native speaker and to build confidence in speaking English in a natural way.
I aim to provide a relaxed and enjoyable session where the learner can speak without fear or embarrassment of making mistakes.
In the first lesson we will get to know each other and talk about how you would like to use the time in future lessons. Some students like to talk about their daily lives, others prefer to use a topic in the media, for example a newspaper article or video, to stimulate conversation. Some people prefer structure while others feel more comfortable with an informal approach.
The main focus of my lessons are conversation, with listening and reading practice, if required.
This will be your time to develop your confidence in speaking English in a simple, friendly and supportive environment.
