My name is Jennifer Castillo, I'm a native speaker. I am a cheerful, dynamic, patient, responsible person, committed to my work. I like my students to feel free to ask when they do not understand something. I am a very expressive person and I speak very slowly.

I love to know different cultures and I've also traveled a lot. I like to ask my students about the places where they have been.

Since I was a child I studied at a school that prepares students to be teachers so I like to teach, for 5 years I was doing an internship in a elementary school and I was also teaching English for 2 years to kids. Afterwards I did my studies at the programa de formacion complemantaria of the Escuela Normal Superior de Bucaramanga, while I was studying for my career I taught Spanish, English and mathematics to teenagers.

Also I have worked with deaf and blind people, so I know the Colombian Sign Language and the Braille System. I have two diplomas for teaching foreign languages. One of those was the TKT at the Cecam Institute (Certificate University of Cambridge) - Colombia and the other was the TESOL at the Canadian Institute of English and Applied Neuroscience - USA.

Here's the way my system works : once you choose to have a lesson with me, I 'll ask you about your goals and knowledge about the Spanish language - that will help me to understand your current level and goals.I will walk you through the units in the books, work with you on the exercises, and assign you homework. In our next lesson, we'll discuss the homework and topics related to the homework. Conversational Spanish: we can discuss different topics about your liking.
