Hello, my name is Elizaveta Slastina and I'm an experienced Japanese language tutor currently living in Russia. I have been teaching Japanese online since 2019. I am currently offering a free initial trial lesson for new students.
About me - English

I am a native-Russian speaker and I offer a combination of English, Russian and Japanese teaching experience, academic excellence, compassion and strong personal skills. My major in university is Japanese and English and I had an exchange year in Japan where I studied at Kindai University and worked as an English teacher in International Preschool. I also worked as a private tutor teaching Russian for Japanese students.

Now I work in an educational center in Russia as an English and Japanese tutor. I also work as a tour guide I am in my last year at university and I am going to graduate in 2020. I really enjoy teaching people languages and seeing their progress throughout our lessons. I always try to make my lessons interesting because I understand the importance of learning and doing what you love. It will be my pleasure to teach you Russian or Japanese or maybe even English.

Teaching Approach

During my lessons, I actively explain every aspect (grammar/alphabet/phonics and so on). I usually do not use teaching books (expect grammar books) because I prefer to use internet resources, so I can make my lessons more modern and interesting for my students. We read and translate online newspapers' articles, watch videos, have discussion on different topics, learn how to write formal letters and so on. Of course, I explain idioms, words, expressions as well. And I often give homework for a new topic that we have. Also, every lesson I ask my students something from our previous lessons, so they refresh the old information and learnt things.
