Hello!

My name is Angelika. I have been teaching for over 10 years now. I am passionate about teaching and learning languages. After several bad experiences in different language schools, I decided to open my own academy here in Bergen, the second biggest city in Norway, and one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

I knew I would become a teacher ever since I was a little girl. I would always teach all my dolls and teddy bears whatever I had learned at school. I love teaching and I try to do it in an easy and understanding way.

I have studied Social and Cultural Animation at the Veles i Vents Institute in Spain, where I have learned different approaches to teach.

I am an Anthropologist with specialisation in Linguistics. I have studied both at UNED in Spain and UiB in Norway.

After years of experience in teaching Norwegian, I have created my own textbook to learn the language focusing on common mistakes and making extra exercises as well as extra materials for each section.

I adjust the lessons according to my students' needs. I like using all kinds of materials to teach: a textbook, extra materials, newspaper articles, tv shows, phone apps...

I myself am a language learner (I am currently learning Russian). I test different learning methods and approaches on myself and suggest some to my students, depending on how each of them likes to learn.

Speaking, writing, listening, reading, grammar... These are all included in my lessons. But not only that: I will tell you everything I know about Norway as well as the crazy things Norwegian do or don't do :)
