About me - English
Hi! My name is Damira and I live in Zagreb, Croatia. I'm a native Croatian speaker teaching English. I also speak French and a little bit of Italian.
My favourite game as a child was playing school where I was a teacher, of course. After graduating from University, that game became my profession. I taught English to all age groups, from kindergarten to managers. Now that I have my own children, you are guessing what game I always try to play with them.
I also have experience in the publishing industry - from creating English language teaching materials to supporting teachers in using ELT print and digital materials.
Join me for a trial lesson to see if we are the right match on your learning journey!

Teaching Approach
Speaking (and listening) are at the heart of all my lessons which are dynamic, exciting and fun, but grammar and vocabulary have an important role in those lessons too! When we don't see each other you will receive reading and writing tasks to either prepare for the lesson ahead or consolidate the language learnt in the previous lesson.
I have very good command of digital learning tools so you can choose whether you prefer using a particular course book that offers digital materials (eBook, eWorkbook) or together we can discuss the shape of the lessons depending on your learning style and your needs. I am happy to tailor the lessons to your needs. My goal is to help you see yourself making progress and become a confident user of the language.
