About me - English
My name is Natalie. I was born and raised in Taiwan. I graduated with a double major in Chinese Literature and Fine Art and also completed the “Proficiency for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Examination” course this year.
I’m passionate about life, and my interests include reading, writing, painting, and traveling.
Having learned English for many years, I understand how difficult it can be to learn another language. Therefore, we will explore various methods to learn Chinese in my class, and I believe we will have a lot of fun.
Qualifications & Experience
I completed the “Proficiency for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Examination” course (60hrs.) this year.
I’m a Chinese teacher, guiding students on how to create speeches and write articles. I use various methods in my teaching, such as storytelling with pictures, collecting reports, interviewing people, and so on. Additionally, I write articles about Taiwanese design brands for several online arts and culture magazines.
Teaching Approach
I will use many interesting methods to introduce vocabulary and some Chinese characters, as well as practice conversations in various scenarios. Additionally, I will introduce culture, customs, and festivals through storytelling in class.
