I found the reading aloud exercise to be a good way for me to learn. I can practice and learn pronunciation, learn new vocabulary, and learn finer points of grammar and the meaning of words.
Elena was able to give me very detailed feedback and corrections as I completed each paragraph and explain finer points of pronunciation and grammar.

This was my introductory lesson. Elana was very patient and understanding with some technical problems that I had with the Teams software. Teams was new to me, and I had not configured the settings correctly before the lesson.
Fortunately, Elana was prepared in advance to switch to Zoom if necessary and we were able to complete the session using Zoom. We discussed my objectives in studying Italian and my previous -limited background, so that she had a good base for future lessons.

Teaching Approach
My students learn the language through communication and real-life situation activities.
The teaching methodology used is based on the natural aquisition of the language which is supported by grammar help when needed to help students use the language correctly.
Not only do they improve their speaking skill, but also listening, reading and writing skills will be practiced during the classes to help them develop all four language skills.
The lessons can be tailored according to the student’s needs (language for business/travel/school help) and personal goals.
